This Waitangi Day please join us in giving thanks for a beautiful koha of love and commitment that is simply changing lives.

During 2016, 23 Kiwis travelled to Africa ‘on their own dollar’ to volunteer with Mercy Ships. They helped transform lives and bring tangible hope for the future to people in desperate need.

It’s a really long way from home, especially on holidays like Waitangi Day when their thoughts are with family and friends. Yet 40 more intrepid Kiwis are in process to volunteer on board over the next year.

Thank you for helping our Mercy Ships crew offer the forgotten poor a place to turn for help, and a reason to hope. 30 sec video: What does HOPE look like
