ANZAC Day on board

ANZAC DAY kiwis (002) lo

The first Dawn Service was held on board the Global Mercy this year as New Zealand and Australian crew, and others, gathered on the top deck in the breaking light. It was a poignant time as they thought not only of those who had fallen serving our nations, but also of our crew gathering on the Africa Mercy in Senegal at the same time.

Of course, no ANZAC Day is complete without the obligatory biscuits, which were baked on the Africa Mercy with the help of Captain Alan from the US, who was keen to be part of the commemorations.
