CORPORATE AND BUSINESS
By partnering with Mercy Ships, your corporation or company can make a real difference to the lives of the world’s poorest people. A partnership with us can also benefit your organisation in a number of ways. You can gain access to new audiences, demonstrate corporate social responsibility and increase PR opportunities. You could also help your business to:
- Increase sales
- Provide a point of differentiation from your competitors
- Develop good relations with local communities
Motivate staff to commit to something long term and worthwhile.
EMPLOYMENT ENGAGEMENT
Employee fundraising can help raise some invaluable funds for Mercy Ships and has excellent benefits for your company and staff. By getting employees involved, your business can benefit from increased staff loyalty, teamwork and motivation, while projecting a positive corporate image to clients, suppliers and the local community. In turn employees get to have lots of fun and can gain a real sense of achievement. You and your colleagues can raise money at work in the following ways:
- Volunteering to help at events, at our office or on the ship
- Workplace giving
- Participation in events
- Staff’s own fundraising initiatives
FINANCIAL PARTNERSHIPS
Financial partnerships are critical for the work of Mercy Ships to help meet patients’ medical needs. This can be achieved through funding our Medical Programs, volunteers and sponsorship of events.
FUNDING A MEDICAL PROGRAM
Mercy Ships actively seeks partners and sponsors for desperately needed surgical, medical, dental and community development programs in the world’s poorest nations. Please contact us to discuss how you can engage in one or more of our programs.
FUNDING A VOLUNTEER
Companies may wish to fund existing volunteers who need support or employees who would like to volunteer whilst serving onboard the ship. This is a great way to engage employees and support corporate social responsibility goals. Employees gain real-world training opportunities and improved morale. Employees with different skills from medical staff to engineers and IT can volunteer from 2 weeks to long term and will gain a complete a life-changing experience.
