Mercy Ships New Zealand
Mercy Ships NZ staff
Sitting close to my heart are the words ‘to whom much is given, much is required’. Making a difference in people’s lives is a key part of my DNA.
The challenge is huge, but the life transforming benefits for people in Africa are momentous and I am excited to be a part of that.
I have the wonderful job of communicating with all of our fabulous donors. The Sunday TV programme featuring Mercy Ships inspired me to get involved – I just loved those Kiwi volunteers!
I champion NZ volunteers, assist in their application process, provide timely info, and liaise with our Int’l Support Office. Witnessing our volunteers delivering hope & healing on board is priceless.
Ruined for the ordinary after 30+ years with 4 ships & 3 land offices, I’m passionate about sharing patients’ and volunteers’ inspirational stories.
My role is connecting people who want to help change the world and bring them the opportunity to do so. I have the privilege of meeting so many people with the most amazing humility and passion to help others in need.
