This inspiring documentary follows a Kiwi surgeon and a dozen other New Zealanders on their remarkable journey providing free essential surgery for the poor, on board a hospital ship in Guinea, West Africa. The patients of all ages on board the Mercy Ship suffer from extreme conditions never seen in this country, and their life-transforming operations unleash a whole new future for them and their families.
