Teaching aboard Mercy Ships in Africa is an adventure of a lifetime.
Here’s your chance to be part of something amazing, and make the world of difference! You could teach the crew children on board one of our surgery ships Africa Mercy or Global Mercy. The Mercy Ships Academy is an accredited international Christian school serves preschool, primary and high school children on each ship, with small class sizes and big life experiences. We’re looking for all types of teachers to make it possible for our crew families to serve Africa’s poor. See the volunteer vacancies below.
Nurture growing minds in a variety of subjects. We’re looking for volunteer teachers with at least two years of experience in the classroom to join the Mercy Ships crew, to teach our children on board.
My favourite thing about teaching in the Academy is building strong and genuine connections with the students and their families. We have the privilege of walking alongside them in their journey and hearing their story, and the stories behind their stories. Karin, Primary School Teacher from Auckland.
