Thoughtful management of donations received
In 2021, the efficiency of Mercy Ships New Zealand support of beneficiaries is 81%, while administrative costs as well as marketing and fundraising costs amount to 19% of donations received.

Use of funds
- Mercy Ships New Zealand (MSNZ) is a registered charity in New Zealand which exists to support the work of Mercy Ships International. Linked through an Association Agreement.
- Mercy Ships New Zealand (MSNZ) is a registered charity under the Charities Act 2005 (#CC26854). Our charity registration details can be viewed on the NZ Charities Register.
- After rigorous examination, the New Zealand government awarded Mercy Ships NZ Schedule 32 Tax Status. Few NZ charities have attained the levels of credibility, accountability and transparency required that allow private donors, companies and corporates to receive tax-deductible receipts for all funds donated to the charity.
